About Us

In 1972 TPS became the first independent talent payment company to service the Canadian advertising community. Purchasing our chief competitor in 1999, TPS merged both groups of highly skilled professionals into one organization to ensure a stronger and more efficient future.

The talent payment process is a critical function of broadcast production. Union rules, regulations and payments regarding session payments and residuals are complex, intricate, time consuming to process and prone to errors. TPS has the expertise, leading edge proprietary technology, infrastructure and systems in place to handle the entire process.

We guarantee to be accurate and on time.

TPS specializes in all collective agreements for all unions – ACTRA, UDA, AFM, SAG, AFTRA , UDA IPA & ACTRA IPA.

“It's nice to see that TPS continues to strive to find new and innovative ways to manage the payment of talent in our industry. The new on-line programs promise to make our lives easier.”
